Anyone know who MAKES suspension springs to order

KWACKERZ1, it's for the Harris shock - its a Showa that Joe Pitt has just sorted for me.
It was a bit soft before he re-charged it, etc.... but it's not possible to quantify what its like before he re-filled it - and now I've tried it out, its still too damned soft

I have now found a place that manufactures springs to your size/spec - but I'll need to investigate what actual spring rate I need

I could probably help you out with the loan of some bits like an original de-carbon spring to try as a comparison, I think I also have a emc shock for a Harris, you could borrow as well if it helps.
(Also have an r1 shock that might help you) In my gsxr I have fitted and R1 shock and apparently its best to replace the spring with a slabby spring as they are stiffer, so a slabby 750 spring might be worth a try.)
Alternatively I would ring Lester or Oliver Pearson and ask them directly what the standard spring rates are, they are normally happy to help. (make sure you let me know the answer)
Also which company will manufacture them for you as it would be useful to know.

an R1 Spring recommended off the ohlins chart is a
01093-26 r1 spring
A gsxr slabby one 01091-16 gsxr 750 spring.
I Found this on another site and Not sure if its any use but worth a read
1091-34/100 is an example of a code you will find on an Ohlins shock spring. Using the below charts you can “decode†what you are looking at.
• The 1091 refers to the diameter and the length of the spring. Almost all Ohlins springs have a diameter of 57mm so that’s easy, the 1091 in this case means it has a 160mm length (when not on the shock)
• The -34 is the spring rate. For some unknown reason Ohlins uses it’s own numbers to label rate, but below on the rate conversion chart you can cross reference this number. In this case a -34 is a 100nm or 10.19kg or 571lb spring
• The /100 is the springs rate in Newton meters, but without the decimal. In this case the /100 means it’s a 100nm spring.
