my bike was standing for while would not start sprayed some easy start into the petrol tank then it started ,you can spray on to your k n filters

plug change probably should have been the first thing, well second after fresh fuel but no i haven't changed em, just assumed they were new like everything else
but we all know that assumed....makes an ASS out of U and ME... innit!
i'll take a trip down to Halfords tomorra and buy some...and sum easy start,

maybe a drop on the dip stick will put a smile on my face if the bike wont start... :P

mint lol just spray it over the back of the carbs sparingley i flattened a bat 3 times on a gpz 750 would it feck fire up..then give it a sniff ..started on the button everytime after :wink:

Thanks Pal, you're a star..seems the green and black were reversed but the batterys flat now so i'll try again later, so that would have made the plugs spark on the down stroke instead of the up...am i right?

have you lubed the ignition advancer - sounds like it's firing 180 degrees out to me.

no i tried it again with battery of my GS and it fired in,
the problem was the green and black LT leads were arse about face,
i think i've got carbon monoxide poisoning now tho..... open doors now .....breath!!!!

No sorry Rich, i wouldn't know where to find it but no need now, she fired up.
i do need to have a look at the timing next tho i think, she's a bit lumpy!
