I have run twin discs upfront on my Z1B for 25+ years, used Ferodo pads and never had a problem. Last year the brakes seemed to be fading and I noticed brake fluid around the calipers, duly stripped and discovered the chrome on the pistons was badly pitted and even with new seals they still leaked. Bought a pair of pattern calipers from Z Power complete with pads. Result - brakes squealing like a banshee, stopped about as quick as the QE2. Decided to fit a set of EBC HH pads as they seem to be highly rated. Result still squealing like a banshee but worked well.
400 Miles later, can't cope with the squealing, decide to have another look at the brakes, the pictures below show what I found....

OMG

This is the floating pad from the left hand caliper, fixed pad is ok and the pads in the right hand side are fine.
Is this the pads, the pattern calipers, the operator or a combination of all?
Spoke to EBC they claim that it is a problem of too much pressure......what??
