Going to re chrome the rims on my Z650 project and have them re built with stainless spokes and nipples front ones ok,
but rear ones bit of a mess so got another rim which came off a Z
but dont know which Z,
my question is, as the Z650 rear wheel has a drum brake will it cause any
problems if the rim i am using came off a disc brake wheel rim ,
as the Z650 rear spokes are all the same length both sides
but on say a Z1000 rear wheel they are different lenghts either side,
thought there may be a issue with the way the spoke holes are angled?

It will cause a real problem if you use the Z (Disk) rear rim with your rear hub.
Looking at the rear Z (hub) and rear Z (disk), they are different, so much so, they have a small arrow about 1 cm long, stamped into the rim to indicate the side of the disk, as the disk hub is not symmetrical, being smaller on the disk side.
You are correct in what you suggest "there may be a issue with the way the spoke holes are angled?"
