can anyone help(i cant believe im having to ask but im at a loss here)
anyway,the gpz550 race bike i run in the crmc proddie class (the black one at our trackday) has an intermitant ignition/power fault.
The battery is good and it is charging well but every now and again i loose a couple of cylinders,no spark then i get all 4 ,then nothing and she wont fire ,i have tried another igniter,pick ups and coils.Ehhh,yup thats what i thought,now i have linked out the side stand switch and the starter cut out switch (clutch lever) but and here is the problem,would the safety diode box mess up the ignition in some way where i have bridged the clutch cut off,its the only thing i can think of

the colours on the lock out switch are yellow green(goes to diode box)black /yellow (earth) and light green(which goes to neutral light and diode box).
the bike will still only start in neutral but you dont have to pull in the clutch and it has been fine wired like this for ages and ran fine getting two seconds and a third in class with Chris from practical sportsbikes on board
