diameter of clutch rod ball

#1 PostAuthor: nanno » Thu Jul 12, 2012 9:10 pm

Could someone measure the diameter of the clutch rod ball that sits in the clutch basket and let me know... seems like mine is now hiding somewhere in the darkest darkness under the workbench or under the lathe...

Cheers,
Greg

That's 9.5mm in metric money!

Hmm, a trip round to the bearing shop is due, I'd say.

If you really want to find the original that you dropped in your workshop, just switch out the lights and walk around bare foot with a Ming vase in each hand.

You should locate it in a matter of seconds!

Lovely tip...unfortunately it probably rolled somewhere towards the lathe, so there's tons of small stainless steel chips on the ground. Not exactly sure, whether I want to pick all of them up like that.

(No worries, I know it was a joke)
