Hi all, i've just bought my mates Z900 A4 which has been sitting in bits for 20 years and I would like to get my frame braced before getting it powdercoated and wondered if anybody had a copy of the article that I believe was published in the clubs magazine a while ago. Also does anybody know anyone in Scotland that could undertake such a job as I would like it done properly so that I can refit my exhaust and airbox without the use of a grinder when it comes to the rebuild.
Cheers
Steve

Z-Power are importing a load of PMC parts, perhaps a quick call to them. I agree with your need to check where the tubes should be fitted to ensure they dont foul exhaust/airboxs. Recall a guy who braced his Z1000A1 frame. Fitted tube across frame rails designed to miss standard pipes. Looked a great job. Got it painted up but had to "adapt" the new frame rail to fit a Harris 4-1 pipe due to the drop pipe alignment.
