Dating Certificate

Does anyone know how to go about getting a dating certificate for a Kawasaki 1966 650cc W1 Frame number etc. present.

Kawasaki UK will do one but they cost about £50+VAT.
Otherwise, VJMC will probably do you one but you might need to be a member
