Can anyone help i have a 1980 z1 ltd that is suffering from missfiring every time from cold and on tickover also when the throttle is shut off i have already changed one nkg sparkplug that was definatlety duff so i am going to change the rest is there anything else i could look at :x :x

Michael,fit a set of DENSO spark plugs.
NGK plugs seem to foul up very easily.
As for the mis-fire,check the igniton system and carbs thoroughly.
Has the bike been stood for any length of time??

Sounds like pilot jet/slow running system in carbs, probably dirty/blocked :roll:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
