Exhaust database

#1 PostAuthor: Ginger Bear » Thu Dec 29, 2011 8:02 pm

Ok, after some discussion; http://www.z1ownersclub.co.uk/forum/vie ... hp?t=17527
I think this might be worth a try. Perhaps the best way forward (for now) is if you could post the exhaust system you have (or have had), adding the following info;
Any performance gains?
Was rejetting required & if so what was fitted? Probably best to add the state of engine tune too.
Can oil filter/drain be removed with exhaust in situ?
Can centre stand be retained?
Quality of system?
Cost of system?
+ anything else you think might be relevant.

On a slightly different note, some of you will know that a new website is in the pipeline, there has been talk about some new tech sections & the return of Anoraks corner, in some shape or form. It may be the case, that any material posted here could be useful in setting up a more definative database in the future.

GingerBear, Suggest that "Where can I get a Japan-style exhaust?".. (Bike help 15 Dec 2011) be entered ready for input into the new data-base. Some great photo's, particularly the first!
