Years ago i bored mine to 1170 so I know thta's safe.

But can they go to 1200?

Anything over 1170 (wiseco) you need liners 1260cc there might be other kits with JE or COSWORTH kits that are ok I think there is a 1198 kit, but not sure who makes them

Pretty sure that 75mm (1170cc) is the limit for standard liners.
Also if you go 76mm+ then you'll need to get the crankcase machined.

One for the future but as I've already done a 1170, then I might as well go the whoe hog & make it a 1260.

The 1260 liners are known to be a bit "fragile" - better off spending on a full Big Bore Block :??
