Fuel Hose Size

Hi all
does any one know what size our fuel hose tubing in UK is for my Z1000 using 41 mikuni rs flat sides carbs ie is it 3/8 or 5/8

Andy, although they are pretty big carbs. I have never seen 5/8" tubing used, even for a single point fuel line. Bearing in mind, the size is usually designated as the internal diameter. Check the spouts on your carbs and on the petrol cock. You will soon get a good indication of what size the lines should be.
Ensure no kinks in line to cause fuel starvation.

I do not have carbs here at the moment as i want to order a pingel fuel tap and filter but need to know the fuel line size so they are correct for when i get carbs back

I use clear fuel lines 1/4" (6mm) bore, readily available most bike shops.
Fits on the standard Pingel fuel cock as well!
