Z1000 J1 igniter wiring

Hi guys, was looking for some advice about my butchered dodgy wiring loom that i'm trying to tidy up...
On the right hand side the wire that comes from the (pick up coil i think) to the ic igniter has two wires comin away from the plug which go to a small black box which has another two wires coming out of it which are folded over and taped up. The black box i'm thinking might be a relay for an old side stand kill switch? Can i cut this right out where the coil an pick up connects? Box doesn't look like a relay, wires are glued in with a resin or something oppose to the usual spade connectors on a normal relay.
If anyone can make sense of this your thoughts are welcome..

just remove the relay for the side stand switch + then the pick up coil wiring plug should connect straight into the ic igniter

Thanx z1bman, i'll give it the snip in the morning. Was needing some reasurance it's definately just a relay before i axed it..
