As per the projects section i have started the rebuild of my ltd, anyway
had the frame sat on its rear end today and a considerable amount
of water ran out the seat rails, its a j type motor frame and am i right in saying i remember reading somewhere that j type frames collect
water in some area and rot from the inside out?
My concern is had a good look at it and it all looks very rusty round the side panel area and below that i would assume that when it goes for blasting that would show up any structual weakness?

Yep Mikey fraid this is a common prob check were the sidestand bracket is welded to the frame if in doubt get a gusset welded alongside to give extra strength...Paul J
