Needle Jet for z1000 MKII - Mikuni Ref?

#1 PostAuthor: njwmct » Sun Oct 02, 2011 5:35 pm

Ref 1979 UK spec Z1000-A3 (MKII)

Cradley Kawasaki tell me that the needle jet is no longer available from Kawasaki but confirmed the description / part no. as:
Needle jet 0-1 / 16017-1011
I spoke to Allens Performance & they told me that they need the Mikuni part no.

Anyone out there know what the Mikuni no. is?

Try this lot;
http://www.motocarb.co.uk/

The 0-1 should mean something to them.

I have used them & found them to be very helpful....... Good luck!

It is also my belief, that worn needle jets cause a lot of rich running problems, & whilst everything else in the carbs is readily available, these are not. Please let us know how you get on.........
