GPZ900 carbs into Z1 ? what inlet rubbers would work?

#1 PostAuthor: simon gilling » Sun May 06, 2007 1:18 pm

I have a set of GPZ900r carbs in good nick, they have about the same spacing as the Zed 9 carbs. Any idea if they would work well, if so what carb inlets would do the job to connect them to the Zeds head? possibly Z1000J or ZXR750, or even GPZ900r inlet rubbers?

I have seen Z1000J carbs on a Z1000A... has anyone tried other carb options?

Thanks

Hi Simon, Don't know if its any help but Z1100 inlets bolt up to the Z head, but have got a bigger bore - I've used them for 33mm smoothies and 36mm GSXR carbs.

Jerry
If you have one to hand could you measure the internal diameter, so I cna check whether they would fit the GPZ9 carbs, Thanks.
Simon

p.s. I have not forgotten the compression test adapter, can I give it to you at the Griffin, end of May meeting?
