Struggling with wireing

Hi guys
rebuilding this 1980 z750
On the right hand side as you sit on the bike there are three wires comming from the bottom of the casing

Can seem to find a home any help appreciated

This is doing my head in.

they should be connected to the ic igniter i think it is under the r/h side panel

Thats probably it as I can not find the igniter no one has a picture of one
or better one for sale

Follow the wires or sheaf up from the points-cover and you will see where it goes. It should be around the control panel under the seat of under the tank. It has, eventually, to meet up with the coils and the wire from the kill switch in the harness.

The problem is the bike came in various pieces and has been stripped down to each nut and bolt and now being rebuilt.

i re-did my Z1r harness but just copied the old one so all was fine ... but starting from a box of nuts and bolts .... eeek , good luck with the rebuild :wink:

do you know what type of ignition you have on it as most after market do not need an ignitor.

If you have the existing harness, you, with someone experienced, will sort it out, taking conizance of the possible non-use of the igniter, as kev E mentions above. Without that harness it is a very difficult job, i would look for a second hand Harness to assist in routing if nothing else..
