Can the taps sucessfully be painted black? If so what is the best way to go about it?

hi i would suggest black hammerite. as this stuff is petrol resistant when dry + have you ever tried to clean paint brushes that have been used to apply this type of paint. the only thing that will clean them is hammerite special thinners. ordinary thinners /petrol / white spirits / have no affect on the paint.

I've used same paint (VHT {gm XXx} heat resistant engine enamel). Seems to last. shouldn't get fuel on it, if it doesn't leak!
