shortening throttle cables help
does anybody know of anyone that can do this with a set of cables which I need to shorten by 100mm ?
Pretty easy to do using a piece of brass rod drilled and countersunk for nipple, put shortened cable through nipple, splay ends and use silver solder preferably with blow torch,,,,,,,,

Worst bit is cleaning the old grease off the cable to solder, preferably I use plumbers solder as you do not need as much heat as silver solder, countersink the hole and splay the cable through it, then solder it.
The adjusters you may have trouble getting off the ferrules, new ferrules are available from push bike and British bike shops glue them on with araldite instead of crimping.
