you know the ickle rubber cover with wire for oil pressure switch coming out at a right angle - can it be taken apart and then reassambled?
my wire has worn through to a couple of strands!!! and I need to replace it, ideally connector to the contact inside the cap.
otherwise I'll just join the 2 bits of wire, less ideal but will work.
incidentlally, what is the proper collur for this wire - '77 A1.

Agree, wire is blue. It simply lifts off to reveal the connection. I think it just has a female bullet connector to attach the wire to the pressure sensor. The trouble is, it is a right-angle female bullet connector, which I don't think you can buy, anywhere. You may have to modify a straight connector to fit the rubber cover.
