Tyres

#1 PostAuthor: martinz1b » Tue Feb 09, 2010 1:00 pm

I have been looking on M&P's website for BT45's and they only come in "H" rating in my sizes (3.25/19 - 4.00/18) Has anyone used the same rating on their Z1's. Not that I expect to be going anywhere near the 130mph rating.

Thanks for any help
Mart

You will have an insurance issue with putting an H rated tyre on.

Martin check out the metric sizes which are 100/90 x 19 and 120/90 x 18.
I think you'll have more chance of finding these in V rated.

Have you thought of Pirelli Demon Sport tyres.?
These are available in V-rated format and a multitude of sizes.
I use them on the Saxon Turbo and they are bloody brilliant.!

Never had pirelli's on any bike but I will take a look at them. I was always a Dunlop user.

The correct tyres are 3.25H19 front and
4.00H18 rear.

You will find BT45`s excellent and Kawasaki never fitted a V rated tyre to the Z1 or 1000 A series.

It looks like BT45's then, I can get them a lot cheaper than those Pirelli Demons
