Rickman Kawasaki ....

A friend of mine had heard of a Kawasaki Rickman for sale. After some digging I found a name and phone number. So I gave him a call tonight.

Turns out its a early 80's Kawasaki Z1000A1 engined Predator. The one that looked like shit! . It is a roller, a engine and a box of bits.

I confirmed that it has a nickel frame etc, so it all sounds like a Rickman.

So I'm going to look at it this weekend, I'm disappointed that it is not a CR.

Should I buy it anyway?, should I forget it?, or the reason for posting, can I put a CR tank and seat unit on it? Was the Predator and CR frames the same?
I also have a Z1B and a Z1000J

Buy it if the price is right for you. The Predator frames are better then the CRs. You may have to remove a rear loop (not sure it it was fitted to the Pred or even if Predators were made for the Kwak ) but the body work should fit.
