Rear light brackett

#1 PostAuthor: Paul M » Wed Jan 13, 2010 8:19 pm

Hope i`ve posted this in the right place, seen this on the american e-bay
i think this will fit the short us type rear fender as he is selling that as well but would it be the right one to take the oval light unit ie: Z1B type?

I have e-mailed the guy but as of now had no reply

Your thoughts and comments would be appreciated

Had a request for a bracket on wanted for a couple of weeks now but no joy so i`m now looking further afield

Asked to see if there where any numbers stamped on the bracket a couple of days ago and still awaiting reply, so as time is ticking away so to speak and this person could be away i thought i would ask for some thoughts.

That bracket is for a z900 square light. I may be able to help you if you get stuck as I have a few of them to fit z1/a/b.

Hi Gez

Thanks for that offer should have posted here in first place instead of wanted! Understand that there should be a number stamped on the rear under the rubber mount 12v-43 is the number for bracket to fit short fender and thats what i`ve asked him to check. Dont mind getting this if its the right one and not have to plunder your stock, but if not i`ll pm you

Paul, take GEZ up on his offer, that ebay item is for a square tail-light. That number you quoted (12v 43) is correct for the short-guard oval tail-light and it won't be on that ebay bracket.
