Genuine Parts Fiche
I have found a site in Holland http://www.cmsnl.com/kawasaki-motorcycle_model11372/ which provides access to the original kawasaki parts fiches, from which you can look up part numbers and order original parts (if they are still available of course!). This is VERY(!) useful; but does anyone know of an equivalent UK website, to avoid the additional postage costs?

I`ve got a Microfishe machine and just about all the fishe things for most models ,1970`s/1980`s. The local records office have a machine so you can print them out but it`s about £2.50 per page, bit steep when you consider how many pages there are.
Don`t use it much to be honest but if I could help I will.

That link is to Kawasaki's American website, you can also find it in our links section on here.
If you get the part number you need from either source and ring Zed Power they'll be able to tell you in about 5 seconds if it's in stock with them, if not if it's available or NLA, and they can get anything still available in a couple of days if Kawasaki still have them. It's always worth trying.
I found the site great for some of the small parts. I've ordered a few small (very small) rubber bushes/grommets etc that have all seen better days on my bike. I sourced new tank mounting rubbers, side panel and tail unit rubber bushes/grommets and electrical plate baushes/grommets. These were all very reasonably prices (just a couple of euros each).
I tried searching for some of the more hard to find items (like seat lock, rear master cylinder piston/seals etc) and they were both unavailable and (assuming they ever get any in) very expensive.
I will report back on the transction/service when the parts are delivered.

If you go to the US site and are prepared to do a bit of cutting and pasting you can make your own paper copy. A lot easier than turning computer on / getting magnifying glass out. US or Canadian spec of course but I only use the engine details so it doesn't bother me.
