Hi Baz,
will fit no problem, main difference is 8mm exhaust studs in stead of the 900's 6mm but you can drill out exhaust pipe retainers to suit or obtain z1000 set. Obviously a MK1 head is preferable as the later heads although will fit can have a more square shape to them. Might be best to advise what model of Z1000 head you have as some even later models can be fitted with modifications, but there are plenty of experienced experts here that would be willing to advise if this is the case. thanks for that, he's not sure what model it came off but says its got cam shells fitted and 6mm ex studs. is that any use :?:

If you mean cam shells they are certainly on a 900 head 6mm studs mean it is probably a 900 Cheers paul J..
