Engine case cleaning

#1 PostAuthor: asphalt900 » Fri Dec 11, 2009 8:03 pm

Hello everybody. This is my first post so excuse me if i'm in the wrong section. Looking for an option for bead-blasting cases for uniform apperance. You guys all do such a fantastic job of restoring/modifying these bikes!! Water-blasting was mentioned, is this the same as steam cleaning? And is it truly effective as to remove all grime reestablishing a like new apperance. Or is there another method? Thanks, Clay

Hi Clay,
welcome to the site.
There are various ways of doing cases, no doubt someone will be able to list the pros and cons of each.
Whilst we don't insist on it, it's always good to tell us a little about yourself in the "New Here" section.
Four pipes rule, anything else is second best.
