I have a good pair of us type repro rear shocks that have the chrome lifting on the shroud,can this part be removed and re-chromed? looks like there is a small flush pin that can be removed any ideas anyone? Cheers Paul J..

The problem is that the US type shrouds are plastic not metal like the euro ones, so who the hell does plastic chroming?

I spoke to someone who sent his parts off for plastic chrome plating..
....all the way to Canada.
