Hi Bear,

Lucky you!! Makes a change to find it as clean as that when you pull the head.

I am running 10.25 to 1 1075 cc on my Z1A with no problem at all, thought I may have to use an octane booster but does not seem to be required. The only potential problem is the starter motor struggles a bit, however with Dyna coils and elec ign it fires very quick.

Bear, here's where you want to be. http://www.750turbo.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=13
The 750 Turbo and the 1100 DFI systems are very similar systems bar a few extras such as boost sensor, so you should be able to use the info on the site to set one up. I wouldn't usually suggest this route to sort things out but second hand Power Commanders are cheap as chips these days. Wire one in, spend a couple of hours on the Dyno (with a good operator) and Bobs your weird uncle your mom never left you alone with

Oh yes, one other thing,. If people continue to refer to the best bike Kwak ever made as a GPz750 Turbo then I won't be responsible for my actions :club
IT'S A Z750 TURBO. OK ? :D

Thanks for your input guys. I had planned my next project to have a sensible budget & just try & use what I already have, which does include 3 complete fuel injection systems  And of course this recently discovered 1170 kit :D
I must say, the Jury is well & truely out on this one now. I did have a dabble on the 750Turbo site this afternoon, but had to leave as my brain started to fade
I like the simplicity & performance of flatslides, but they don't come cheap
