Anyone know of a good engine builder close to Portsmouth, I have an original engine for my z1b in a box minus pistons, all casings and valve gear are on the 1000 engine in the bike 75 z1b need to talk to someone about possible costs and whether parts will swop, any help out there :lol:

Don't know anyone specifically near you matey, but it may well be worth farming it out to a long standing member of the Z1OC - Ash

He is a bit of a plonker - but knows how to build a Zed motor :lol: And at a very fair price :P Hes Midlands way :!:

He did the gearbox on my Zed back a few years, and the thing is still going strong after many blasts down the 1/4 mile :twisted:
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

You could try Mark Hutton in Lindford Hampshire on 07855 205307.
There not much he doesn't know about Zed motors.
He rebuilt mine two years ago and it's still running strong after two years of thrashing it about.
