LTD TANK

Could any one tell me if there is a difference between a 1978 LTD tank
and a z1000a1 tank.

LTD tank is shorter and narrower than the A1 tank.
86 Z1100R x 2, z7/11r, ZRX400, Z1000B2, ,ZRX1100C4 & Z1000J3.

Don't know about humpback but it tapers away at a sharper angle at the rear to get the shorter length. I suppose this does make the top of the tank look taller but they appear to be the same height.

I don't know your problem but I trid to fit an A1/2 tank on a 78 ltd once and it didn't fit, I didn't persevere so don't know why.

Got an A1/2 tank on one of my LTD's but you will need an A1/2 seat due to longer tank
