cheers, well it is a start. kinda wha I am planning.

the cooler you have is a mocal - you can get them in many places but ThinkAuto actually make them.

I am looking to fit something a bit less chunky so am looking a m/cycle coolers but the hoses would be routed over the head, as opposed to round the side - like what you have done.

I managed to get a brand new kawsaki 8 row cooler, dead nice but it may be a tad too tall as the speedo cable gets in the way. It also needs to be space away from tee frame since there is that triangule steering brace would stop any air flow.

zed1015 - just noticed the oil line coming out of the cam cover - is that for an oil pressure gauge or what?

It's one of the four oil lines for the external cam oil feed system i have made. It supplies the cams with cool oil direct via the cooler rather than running it up the hot rear cylinder studs. See my Drouin supercharged zed in the projects section for more detail. Image

Steve, it did get a bit nearer fitting than that. Even made a bracket & sorted some extra hose, thermostat & hose finishers. But currently it's still all snug in it's box!

I was going to get a thermostat, but after all these years, and hardly ever taking the bike out in really cold weather, ain't gonna bother now :|

I saved the money and bought a few rolls of duct tape, and still had some change left

Piece of plastic and some cable ties - just slip it through when it's cold to stop the air flow
