Hi Paul, i found my z900 frame by sending an email to anyone who seemed to be selling alot of zed spares

, it seems they don't mind the small easy to send items, but can't be bothered with the frame.
The breakers want upwards of £400

, but you should be able to get one for under half that

I have a Frame with log book I could let you have for £190 +p+p.
But its not completely standard and I think its an a1 Chassis KZT00B517411
I also have a braced mk11 frame with monshock swing arm, but again this was modded around the seat rails and the twin mounts re-added so probably wont suit a z900, But you could have that for £90. no v5 though.
J browse might be worth a try in wrexham.
P.s can we see a pic of the chop/ or frame ?
Pics of the a1 frame are below.

Your frame is from a KZ1000 B1 - B4 so I dont think it will be old enough as the engine is from a Z1A 1974
I will keep in mind though.
My frame on inspection has had the No removed so is no use to me???

Paul, spoke to DVLA earlier in the week & they told me that there would be no problem with issuing a new frame number if you can prove what it is & the year( Jerry should be able to issue you with a dating certificate ),
DVLA will then be able to give an age related plate.
