Stupid little things - probably don't do much either - but my tap's missing both cylindrical plastic intake filters so anyone got one or pref. 2 kicking 'round? Or know where I can find genuine or pattern items?
Just to be clear, I'm talking about the cylindrical plastic filters that fit over the main and reserve intakes at the top of the tap body (ie the ones that sit inside the tank itself).
Think these were the same 72 - 75 and even later maybe?
PM or call 07771 613 688
cheers

Chris...do a search on ebay for a guy called 'jessbikes'. He's in the States and most of his stuff is for triples. He sells refurb kits for the H1/H2 fuel taps, including those little filters.

Hi Steve
Thanks for the pointer.
I contacted Jess but he said that - true to form - the filters for the oil-burners are SMALLER diameter than those in the Zeds!!

Terrific.
He's checking to see if he can source a supplier of Zed sized filters. Jolly nice chap he is too.
Meantime - pair of filters (or complete petcock with filters intact) STILL WANTED!!.............

You're a bleedin' gold mine is what you are BZ!
The filters are whitish/yellowish fine mesh tubes about 8mm diameter and 30 mm or so long. send me a pic if you can. Filters were the same 72-75.
Old coils huh? Do they work by any chance?

Which bike did they come off?
