Hi, I have a 1978 Z1R and need a couple of items, if anyone can help.
Firstly an airbox and also a centre stand.
Are these items the same as any other model?
Oh, and an original exhaust if there's one out there.

Main stand for Z1-R D1 1978 is different to the normal Z1/Z900 stand.
Reason being it was never fitted with left hand silencer - so the foot lever is shorter to tuck in and look right.
If you fit one of the standard or repro ones avail the foot lever will stick out too far due to the missing silencer and look WRONG.
Good luck on spotting an original complete exhaust but there are good repro silencers avail now - with brackets and clamps.
Just need to paint the end cone black to get the NOS factory look.
Get them from Saisei, Z1 Enterprises or Z1parts.net - prices vary
I got two new chrome silencer clamp bolts left if you need one.

if your riding it stick with repro as that's a collectors silencer first 8 months of production and now rare

I would want to see pics of the underside of that power chamber (collector box) and down pipes before making any offers.
That part is most likely to have attracted damage from scrapes and poor jacking dents.
Seller has taken loads of similar shots but none of the underneath. I am a bit suspect on that if he is asking top dollar.

Assuming underside is ok, what sort of price do you think correct?
I've little experience with Z1r's I know thats 4/4 Z1 pipe money!
