import tax from Australia
I tried "Smacking my Bitch Up" I'm now back at mi mams.
I did go down this route about 15 years ago as i rode an aussie registered gpz100 back to the uk and imported it. I still own it.
If I remember rightly (i do have a shite memory tho) the import duty to the uk isn't very high, but the aussie export duty was about 100% or something outrageous, which might be why there are so few holden pickups and the like over here as grey imports.
I got around it as i had a tax waiver on the grounds that it was supposed to go back to aus after the trip. I paid a small bond for this. The bike never went back and the bond forfeit was a lot lot less than the export duty.
Don't take my word for it, check the facts,but as i recall this was the gen in 2001 ish.

I believe if it is a personal export from Australia there is no export duty ?
