Zed turbo wanted

Been having to many sleepless nights, and a few 4:am, what if ideas.
Always wanted a zed turbo. So thought i would put the feelers out.
Anyone got a turbo kit or bike 😉 they might want to part with.

Good idea and the best of luck. You can't beat the rush of 200hp on a really old design engine.
Personally, because a Zed is old skool anyway, I would try and go for a draw through system as opposed to a blow through system that just won't look right for the age of the motor.
There ARE alternatives to the exceedingly rare "OE" 70's turbo stuff, you just need to talk to someone like Dave Dunlop who is in the know.
Any Rajay turbo unit is going to be very difficult and expensive to find, as is the rest of the original systems such as ATP (American Turbo Pak) and Mr Turbo.
The ATP kit is tried and tested though and very good quality.
The key part to making sure you have a self-detonating free engine is ensuring retard at boost, so a Dyna 2000 system is absolutely crucial.

hes also got a z1000 turbo
& a supercharger kit for sale + new 1200cc turbo motors for sale

Thanks for that All . Its got to be a z1 not a gpz turbo. Will i will pick youre brains once i get all the bits together.
I know you know them inside out, but where/ who is Dave dunlop?

no ,I have a spare kit and a Magnusson kit but I'm not the guy with the parts I listed ,all the parts are in first class condition so the chap isn't giving them away,your first move is to have ago on a z1 turbo b4 comiting your self ,you can make a turbo kit for peanuts your self if you can weld the pipework ,

Dave is very experienced with the old Rajay turbos, well he's actually rather good with any turbo, but has a soft spot the older stuff.
I'd be surprised if Dave couldn't supply you with what you want, but none of this stuff is cheap.
On the other hand, nothing delivers the power like a draw through.... laughing your tits off one minute then shitting yourself the next

Just sold one kit to a guy in Germany, still have the NOS kit and superchargers Plus two new built low comp engines (Joe Hooper and Tim Blakemore)
