Do you know when your Thou was built David?. If so Paul may have discs he could match to your bike from their Date Stamp.

Having checked out date codes from what I have to hand, I have a letter U stamped on the shocks, what looks like 01 or 81 7 22 number inside the points cover, and 6 11, and 6 12 stamped on the handlebar controls, nothing on the carbs that I can see, so what should be the date stamp for the discs ?

Switch blocks are Nov/Dec 76 so presuming they are original to the bike then somewhere around 1V on the discs would do IF possible.
