Just a thought - stop me if I'm talking nonsense here - this would be the big steel gutter like what 1000j's and GPz B's have?
If it is, are the ones on shaftie gt550's and 750's the same bit of metal? If they are you might find a good one for a lot less than a 'z1100r' one. Though the paint'd need changing, obviously.

Nope. Totally unique to the Z1100R
I luckily found one recently and it cost me £250

The one I have has two small holes in it.so me thinks send to england for repair. Any advice on who ccould do this would be much appreciated. Cheers.
