Evening all,

Does anyone have one in any salvageable condition before I make one? I'm going to butcher it anyway so I don't mind a bit of damage etc.

Cheers!

I may have a broken one!
TBH if you got a good one it will be bust in no time. Darned fragile little things.
I made my own but KipKawa does a replacement in steel if you're flush.

Are the originals aluminium Al? Mine has always had hideous GPz550 clocks so I wouldn't know.

This week I took delivery of my new clock arrangement and need to decide how to suspend them, so actually the Kipkawa photo may give me inspiration!

Yes some kind of flakey alloy.
Even new ones have stress cracks showing where the ears bend round to mount to the top yolk!
Two honking great clocks and a fuel gauge,.... what were they thinking of?

I used the two vertical holes that used to have the noisy odo mounted on the top yolk and used the original horizontal holes in the side to fix brackets for the fairing.

In that case I think I'll make my own as I'm still going to have two clocks and a fuel gauge, though one of the gauges will be lighter...

I think the broken one has the two mountings snapped off if i remember.
The layout and spacing of holes in the face should still be intact.
If it helps and you need it let me know.
