Thanks Gus. That looks interesting. I suppose it all depends on price.

Just in the middle of building a SS Piper replica for my current 650 project.
SS down pipes and collector from Delkevic £170.00, 60mm SS tube readily available from Amazon / ebay for the link/tail pipe £15.00. 60mm baffle again amazon / ebay £15.00. Mounting band again amazon / ebay £10.00. Should just need a bit of cutting and welding the tube. Complete SS piper rep for about £210.00.

There is a Micron about to finish on Ebay, they were the precursors to Alfa's

Still a left exit silencer. Alfa's are like hens teeth, there are very very few about.

I would like to see one of the copies to see how close they are to the originals. For me though, the originals will always have more kudos.
I actually have 3 original or restored Z650 Alfa's including this one (the best one, it was NOS) on the bike, but they owe me over a grand collectively and I would not sell any of 'em as I know I will never be able to replace them.

Its been on here before but here you go. These were taken last year for a magazine shoot. It was not quite ready but we had to go as it was, it's tidier now and has floating discs on the front but that aside is much the same.

				Thankyou.
It can never be the bike it was built to replicate that like many of us did - was sold off in the 80's in a moment of insanity and regretted ever since, but it's not bad.
It's not perfect by a long shot - but I am pretty happy with it. It took a lot of expense , time and effort to hunt down the very same bits that are on this that I also had on my original (front brakes excepted) I often get tempted to go further, but that does not feel right when I look at it coldly. Maybe this needs to stay as it is, and the fat wheels, different suspension etc needs to be done on another one

Sorry, I don't want a micron, or a laser. It was just an alfa that I was interested in.
Thanks
