Any member got a 'Waterbucket'/'Kettle' they are thinking of parting with? Ideally looking for a UK GT750A but also happy with imported and L & M's which are in very good original or restored condition but must have good original style exhausts.

Please send me a Private Message if you have one or know somebody who may have one. Have done the general search but either overpriced or requiring too much work.

having googled it i see that water bucket is indeed used, just i never heard it before. Great bikes to ride.

In the UK they were often referred to as Water Buckets, but in the USA they were called Water Buffalo's.

yes odd really, maybe it was regional, in the midlands they were always "the kettle" as twozeds says. I had one and my mate had one, great machines anyway. good luck with the search, hope the right one comes along.

In Berkshire we knew them as kettles as well.

Known as Kettles in Lincolnshire

Around here they were either Water Buckets or Kettles.

Suzuki GT750..is called.. kettle..Americans call them... Waterbuffalo...also.. a 75.. I have a..J.1972.& ..a L..1974..

I always referred them as a boiler or a kettle. Regional thing I suppose.
