I am looking for one of these exhausts for my Z1000 LTD, I had one back in the mid 80`s on my Z550 LTD and it was a good exhaust.

Few & far between in any sort of condition.
I had this one ceramically coated as it wasn't good enough to chrome, but still let the bike down, so it had to go.
Nearest you'll get is a stainless 'Piper' style made by Dave at Exhaustcraft. He is a club member. I'm sure someone will post pics.

I seem to remember that Alpha exhaust were only popular because we couldn't afford a Piper or a yoshimura.

I had one a GS 550 god it was loud
my dad used to make me freewheel last half mile to our house when coming home from the gf so as not to annoy neighbours. It was downhill.

seems I`ve stepped on a minefield, yes that's the one Steve, mine was quite loud, but that was 27yrs ago and I`m deaf now

, I just think it looks nice that side as I`m left handed
I have seen Dave`s website and his piper.

I had a piper on my CB750FA and it sounded the dogs bollocks! On the way home late at night from my girlfriends house (many years ago) she could hear my bike up to 2+ miles away. Mind you I did ring the fecking neck out of it every where I went!
However this guy can make one for you. He would need a template to work from though.

If there was enough interest we could ask for a price on a job lot??
