One part of a speedo cable.

Chaps, anybody got an old busted speedo cable suitable for a Z1000 A1 that they're just about to throw away?...I just need the threaded part that screws into the speedo drive as I'm going to make this into a blanking piece. Tried to machine a piece yesterday at work...but didn't have a tap of suitable thread size...so thought this would be the simplest option. Cheers.
