Been out for a great ride this morning, packed a pair of shorts to change into when we got to our destination
On the way back my indicators stopped working, I have traced it back to the flasher unit, has anyone got a spare one or point me in the right and most cost effective direction where to buy a new one?
Got a 83 Z1000R
Thanks in advance guys

Any decent auto parts store should be able to get one.
Durite make what you need.

Ian it would appear that you have bought the wrong machine for your country .
Z1000R's and Z1100R's were notorious for their problem electrics in warmer climates .
I suspect this is just the beginning of your electrical woes .
You did import it if i remember rightly from a cooler country where it will have worked fine

Hey Steve,
I know that mate, that's why I've bought two spare looms from Padders
Or would you recommend me just using the bike when it's winter over here when it drops down to 28decs
Good idea wearing shorts tho, I hate Betty Swollox

Recently bought one for my Z1 from Supercheap Auto, there are several in Brisbane, any 2 pin 12v unit will work.
