Z1R Fuel Tap

#1 PostAuthor: Tonka » Sat Sep 14, 2013 2:59 pm

Need a new or working fuel tap for a Z1R as the one fitted to the bike is extremely difficult to turn on and off.

Also the filter is past it's best anyway so best to replace it

Cheers

Hi Tonka, I have had the same problem on mine, posted a couple years ago, not alone either, I think its the fuel, stripped mine down, replaced the o ring seal, lubricated it and it was much better, still is but tight, no point now you have bought one. :)

This is a problem on Z1300's I am going to follow this As it works and cheaper than buying a new tap
