If you get stuck I just bought a pair NOS Z1 Mirrors from Z Power. I could not see a bloody thing in my old pattern ones due to vibration blurring: but the Kwak genuines (although not cheap) work a treat.

this might give you guys a laugh but I have a pattern one on left of my Z900, and genuine one on right, the left one was blurring and rattling like they do, well as it was set right and im not going to grow or shrink, I pumped silicone into it, which you cant see and the view is now crystal clear!!

Dave, honestly, that is exactly what Dave Marsden advised me to do, and "not waste my money buying new mirrors". I cant think there are many businesses who would try and save you money, rather than just sell you something.
I did try the "bodge" first and they still where sh1te - so I went for some genuine ones.

Sorry for the hijack Big Green Bus :)

andy, I just squeezed a line of clear silicone it right round the edge of the mirror where it fits in the body so that it was forced down inside, then wiped off any excess, you wouldn't even notice it, and once dry it completely stopped the vibration when you revved the bike and the blurring when driving; I agree though that the genuine mirrors are a helluva lot better, and I know I have a spare pair somewhere!
