elr head fin

i have one broken top right fin on my elr cylinder head does anyone have a damaged head they wouldnt mind liberating a fin from?

ok bud,thought if I could get hold of one I could shape it to fit and then just a case of getting it welded

nice one

,just had a look to refresh my memory,as sitting on the bike it is the right hand side bottom cylinder head fin that is missing the whole front corner

I made a couple for my old ELR head - just got some alloy sheet (either 2 or 3mm, can't remember now?) and cut it out - filed it and got Griffs in bristol to weld it on - simples

agreed it does not have to be a Finn from another head if your welder knows what he is doing he will have the material to do the job. the guy i use has been known to build it up with weld if there's not that much of the aluminium missing
