Are you looking for early z1a carbs or the later z1b style?

Hi, just sent you a PM but if you have an engine starting with 38... they should have the later 28mm Mikuni carbs with the small drain screw angled to the side of the float bowl and not the 17mm drain plug. These are the carbs I have.

Gez has seen these and he thought they have not done many miles but they def need a ultrasonic clean (Arizona dust in them as this is where they came from when I bought them off ebay). The carbs tops will also need a a good polish. The yellow paint is still on them and they have never been adjusted by the looks of things.

I have read carbs had lots of small changes (if you read the wired George article) and not necessarily z1/z1a/z1b, but if you want to find out the manufacture dat it's stamped on the back stub - very small month and year.
