A few bits required just to get me started...

#1 PostAuthor: zpower » Sat Mar 16, 2013 4:08 pm

Hi all,

I'm hoping you guys can help me out with a few bits for my initial blind build.

Right my project / challenge is a Z1000 A1 engine into a GPZ1100 A2 frame with Z1 paintwork and a ZX6R swinging arm. That's all I have at the moment.

First off cosmetic condition of the parts is unimportant as all will be replaced or re-chromed or whatever but I need a basis to start from for my blind build.

If anyone has any of the following please let me know :-

Engine mounting kit the condition is unimportant as new parts will need to be fabricated to fit the GPZ1100 A2 frame but I need a basis to start from. In fact if you don't want to sell one but wouldn't mind loaning one out for a few weeks that would suit me fine also :)

Kickstart as the current plan is not to have a starter motor

Z1 oval rear light

A set of exhaust clamps preferably the Z1000J type or even just one so that I can copy it

I need a set of carbs as cheap as possible

ZX6R / ZX9R / ZZR1100 or similar rear shock

That should be enough to get me started.

Many thanks,

Phil.
