Has any one got either a new or used first or second oversize oil ring for a Z1A .It is the later type with two thin rings and an expander .I just pulled the cylinder block to reveal that the ----- that had honed and fitted new rings before I got the bike must have managed to knacker one of the new oil rings and had fitted the old worn out one piece oil ring to number three piston.The bore is first oversize 65.5 but I can reset the ring gap on a second over set.This bike is rapidly cleaning me out.I have just got the head back from S.E.P. New guides ,two spark plug thread inserts, recut seats and refaced valves etc .Have some parts to swap or cash.
